The one question to ask when working with Steve Farrar is “When can you come back?” A consummate pro, Steve is charismatic, organized and engaging. His “National Park Series” is one of the most successful program series we have ever booked at the Osterville Village Library.
Steve took time both before and after his presentations to interact with the audience, in many cases offering would be travelers one-on-one advice on planned vacations.
The photographs displayed within each of the presentations were no less than stunning. Steve’s rapport with the audience insofar as sharing his experiences was perfect. His knowledge of the National Parks is impressive and we received great feedback from our patrons.

Our garden club thoroughly enjoyed Steve’s presentation on “Plants of the National Parks.” How often we fail to see and appreciate plant species unique to each environment in our travels. I’ve also attended several other presentations he’s given on National Parks in specific geographic regions. I may not get to see many of these extraordinary landscapes that have been designated as National Parks for all people to experience forever, so the opportunity to hear Steve describe his visits have meant a lot to me.

My wife and I attended one of Steve’s Pegleg Presentations given at the Weare library. He is an excellent presenter – upbeat and energetic! We learned a lot about many wonderful national parks he had been to and thoroughly enjoyed his presentation. Steve shares his in-depth knowledge of each of the locations he has visited along with beautiful photographs. Definitely worth attending!
